      systems Northern Apennines (Italy), Anti-Atlas and
      High-Atlas belts (Morocco) and Central Pontides
      (Turkey) - Structural analysis of high angle fault
      systems and associated features of the Apuan
      Alps (Tuscany, Italy)

 2004-2011: Scientific manager of research projects
      within agreements between CNR and government-
      owned corporations and private companies

2008-2012: Apuan Alps Regional Park: Member of Board
      of Directors

2011-today: After the announcement of the Apuan Alps
      Regional Park as Apuan Alps Geopark of the
      European and Global Geoparks Network, activities
      of popularization and promotion of the earth
      sciences by conveying the importance of the
      Geopark geological heritage to local communities
      and decision-makers, as well as to public
